The Nature Conservancy invites you to enter your stunning nature images in our second annual digital photography competition. Theme: beautiful nature photography representing the diversity of life on Earth.

Images can be submitted to one of 2 categories: Best Photo from a Place We Protect or Best Nature Photo. Lands, waters, plants, animals and people in nature are all eligible for the competition.

The brand new Daily Telegraph Adventure Travel Show photography competition is searching for the UK’s best amateur travel photographer. Over the coming months leading up to the opening of the show, participants will be asked to scour their albums for just one image that captures the spirit of adventure travel. Anyone can enter; all you need is a keen eye, a dash of adventure and digital camera.

The National Wildlife Refuge Association announces the 2008 Refuge Photo Contest - a digital photo contest to showcase America’s national wildlife refuges.

The National Wildlife Refuge System has no equal when it comes to conserving the USA’s rich wildlife heritage. The over 545 refuges are home to more than 700 bird species, 220 mammal species, 250 reptile and amphibian species, and over 200 species of fish. For 40 million visitors each year, refuges provide a welcome retreat to natural surroundings. That’s why we are pleased to conduct this exciting national wildlife refuge digital photo contest.

Photographers are invited to enter the inaugural World Photography Awards, a competition which will award a $25,000 top prize to the best professional.

Backed by Sony, the contest is expected to attract well known and ‘undiscovered’ photographers alike.

There is a separate category for amateur photographers, the winner of which will be invited to the black-tie awards ceremony to be held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France on 24 April 2008.
